O’Boyle, Ann Elizabeth
Age 70, of Eagan, passed away December 26, 2019 peacefully and surrounded by her family. Ann’s life was a living example of compassion, generosity and love for others. She was a nurse for almost 50 years and was rightfully proud of the care she provided to her patients. Her patients and coworkers loved her energy, her skilled care, and her dedication to making everyone feel like they were her most important patient. In addition to her work as nurse, Ann was an impressive gardener, a talented seamstress, and took great joy in being a good friend. Ann’s biggest source of pride was the family she created - her husband, kids, and grandchildren.
Ann is preceded in death by her father, George Zanmiller. Ann’s deep love for her family will continue to shine through her husband of 50 years, Pat; her daughters, Bridget (Jim) O’Boyle, Molly O’Boyle, Anni (Travis) Raimann and Meghan Booker; her grandchildren, Max, Lucie, Sophie, Patrick, Hazel and Svea; her mother, Elizabeth Zanmiller; her 11 siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the Allina Hospice team, Ann’s sister Jean, her best friend Linda, and our dedicated team of caregivers for helping Ann’s family carryout her wishes to be peaceful, pain free, and at home during her final days.
Ann’s celebration of life is on 1/11/20 at 12pm at SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY CHURCH in Apple Valley. Visitation 1 hour before and lunch after the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Open Door Food Shelf in Eagan.
