Barbara (Olson) Greene

Barbara Jean Greene (Olson), 68, died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her South St. Paul home with her family by her side after a five year battle with cancer. A private memorial for family and close friends is planned.

Barb was born May 26, 1955, in St. Paul, Minn. to Howard and Audrey Olson. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1973 and would become a lifelong cosmetologist. Barb later moved to Washington, living in the western states for several years before eventually returning to Minnesota. In 1980 Barb and John Wells were married and would welcome three daughters. They were later divorced. She married Leroy Greene in October 2006 with whom she shared a love for family, the outdoors, and a deep faith in the presence of God's love. She truly enjoyed homemaking - decorating, cooking, quilting, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to Lake Superior.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband Leroy, father Howard, mother Audrey, brother Chuck, and sister-in-law Carol. She is survived by her children Kirstin Wells, Kelcy (Anthony) Caldwell, and Marta (Angie) Wells; grandchildren Sam, Micah, Penny, Isaac, Elena, Isabelle, Milo, Rayne, and Reas; brother David; and many close friends.
