Beverly Lenore (Briggs) Stolp "Bev"

Beverly Lenore (Briggs) Stolp, age 88 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022. Bev is survived by her beloved and adoring husband of 63 years, Arthur; eleven nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews, including her guardian, Tabitha Benci DeRango; goddaughters, Elizabeth Danielson and Alice Backlund. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Helen Briggs. A student at Wayland Academy and Macalester College, Bev later went on to work college admissions at Macalester and St. Catherine’s and clerked at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in St. Paul, where she and Art have been longtime cherished members. For many years, Bev was an aficionado of the life and history of Amelia Earhart, and even donated her collection of memorabilia to the Amelia Earhart Birthplace museum in Kansas. Bev has been a benefactor to the arts and education and performed at the Edyth Bush Little Theatre in St. Paul. Bev was a sweet, loving, and kind personality with unparalleled wit and humor, and was a faith mentor to young members at Pilgrim. She loved to laugh and had an easy way of lifting the spirits of those around her. A memorial service for Bev will be held at 11:00AM Friday, March 18 at PILGRIM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1935 St. Clair Avenue, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior.
