Brad Walter Fercho, 73, passed away on January 24, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born January 11, 1952, in Minneapolis, Brad lived a life filled with passion for sports, camaraderie, and competition.

Brad was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. His time in the Marines instilled in him dedication and resilience-qualities that remained throughout his life.

Brad loved sports and competition. He enjoyed playing softball and was an active umpire in community leagues. However, it was pool that really captured Brad's heart. He played both recreationally and competitively, earning respect as one of the best players in Minnesota. In recent years, he could often be found at Shooter's Billiards in Burnsville, where he shared many hours with friends and competitors alike. His skill at the table was matched by his love for the game and the friendships it fostered.

In addition to pool and softball, Brad loved playing poker. Whether playing online or engaging in live-action games at Canterbury Downs, he loved the strategy and excitement of the game-another reflection of his competitive spirit and his ability to connect with others through shared interests.

Brad is survived by his sister Patti Hartmann; brothers Bruce Fercho (his twin) and John Hartmann; and, local nieces and nephews Jessica Fercho , Jenna (Robison) Andrew, Anthony Hartmann and Ryan Hartmann, who all affectionately loved him as "Uncle Brad" and with whom he was very close; also, many other nieces and cousins. His family remembers him fondly for his friendly smile, easy going good nature, and his engaging sense of humor.

Brad's memory will live on in his family and friends who loved him.

Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date to be determined.
