Bryndal Jeane Hill (nee Henderson), age 76, a resident of Woodbury, MN, formerly of Round Rock, Tx, and Chicago and the South Suburbs, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. She was born October 16, 1946 in Meridian, MS.

Bryndal was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Henderson and Sadie Echols, her ex-husband, Daniel Hill, and one of her six siblings, James Miller.

She is survived by:
*Her three sisters: Louvenia Henderson, Jacqueline O'Donnell (husband Kenneth), Carolyn Holliman, and brother, Oliver Miller.

*Her two children: Lacynda Hill, J.D., and Danielle Hill, D.V.M. of Woodbury, MN.

*Her nephew, Aaron Holliman.

*Many cousins.

A deeply loved mother, sister, friend, and cousin, Bryndal was a funny, wise, generous, compassionate, intelligent, perceptive, discerning, inquisitive, and resourceful spirit-driven woman of God. She valued all kinds of artistic expression, especially listening to music, drawing, painting, writing, jewelry making, and watching television and films. She loved classic movies and westerns. She, herself, was a talented artist, skilled at drawing, painting, writing, making jewelry, and designing and sewing clothing for Barbie/fashion dolls. A gifted cook, she loved the art of cooking. She could cook anything from French, Italian, and Asian, to Mexican cuisine to soul food to comfort foods without a cookbook or written recipe and have it turn out delicious, which spoiled her children and family for incredible cooking. She loved all types of music, including gospel, folk, classical, and r&b-exposing her sisters and daughters to classical music sparked their love too. At any time, her home could be filled with classical or any other type of music and the delicious smells of food.

Passionate about learning, she was a voracious reader who sought to learn from all her experiences and time on this Earth. She studied the Bible, Hebrew, Biblical history, and countless other aspects of life. But she was especially interested in the human condition, which led her to study Psychology. She continued her studies of the human condition through television and movies, watching to learn more about people from all places and cultures and in all kinds of situations. Bryndal believed there was always something to be learned about people, even from entertainment.

She was a woman of strong faith, studying the Bible daily and continuing to grow in her relationship and walking with him daily, praying without ceasing, and always willing to share that knowledge with others. She freely let her spiritual light shine and shared her love for Jesus and God with everyone she knew and encountered. And anytime anyone struggled with an issue and needed counsel and scriptures to help them, Bryndal helped them by offering wise, thoughtful counsel and scriptures-off the top of her head-because she had the Word written on her heart. She was forthright with her advice and counsel, which came from her heart and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

She instilled in her daughters her curiosity and passion for learning and love for God, Jesus, reading, music, creative and artistic endeavors, movies, and television that took root at an early age.

She loved nature, plants, and animals, gardening, and being outdoors. She used to go camping and loved spending time with her daughters in the forest preserves when they were little.

In her lifetime, she worked as a clerk for the city of Chicago, as a teacher, as an educator at the Zoo (driving a train through the wilds of Africa), and as a caretaker for people with special needs. But she had dreams of being a nurse and teaching people who were homeless to read the Bible while also providing them with food.

She is a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, wife, cousin, and friend who's gone home to Heaven to be with the Lord. Her loved ones know that her work here is done, yet her legacy lives on in us and all the lives she touched while she was here.

We are so thankful to have been blessed with her presence in our lives and will miss her grace, beautiful heart, wisdom, spiritual light, and humor. She will be deeply missed, but her memory lives on in the hearts of all who love and know her.
