Carlos Padilla, age 51 from Corozal, Puerto Rico

On Sunday, February 5th, a caring, loving, and giving man left this world. He loved his family and friends beyond measure. He was proud of his Puerto Rican heritage and shined with joy when listening to the throbbing rhythm of salsa. His personality accentuated his loving heart making everyone around be filled with joy and laughter. He was often referred as the shining light in the room.

Carlos is survived by his father, Jose "Cheo" Padilla; his sister, Claribel Negron; brother, Jose Luis Padilla; loving partner, Zullie Zapata; stepchildren, Kenisha Diaz and Jorge Acevedo and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Rodriguez.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14th from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M, with a prayer service starting at 6:00 P.M. Simple Traditions by Bradshaw - Humboldt, 488 Humboldt Ave, Saint Paul.
