Charlie “Chico” Jackson, age 82 of Saint Paul, passed away on September 11, 2020. He was born to Harold Claments and Geneva Jackson in New Orleans, Louisiana and came to Minnesota by the ways of Chicago. Survived by longtime friend, Doug; along with the many staff and friends who cared for him at Presbyterian Homes & Services; including Lynn, Liz and the rest of his care team. He enjoyed Cajun and Creole cuisine, such as jambalaya, crawfish boils or gumbo. Chico did watch repair for many years and had a collection of many finer things – from artwork to multiple wide-brimmed hats. He was truly a charismatic, generous personality and was a jack of all trades; Chico will be missed by many. Celebration of Life is being planned to be held at Johanna Shores in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Chico’s final resting place will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis. A special thanks to his neighbors at Central Towers and to all the staff of Johanna Shores for their attentiveness and care during his final years.
