Cheryl Connery

Age 78, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Caroline Strobel, brothers Jim and Bob. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom; children, Christopher (Staci) and Caitlin (Jake); twin brother, Daryl "Dake" (Liz) and sisters-in-law Donna, Carolyn and Malana; loving nephews and nieces; cherished grandchildren, Carinne, Colin, Eleanor and Luka.

Born and raised in Wintersville, Ohio, Cheryl felt a calling to teach from an early age. She spent 35+ years teaching kindergarten and first grade, 20 of them as a beloved educator at St. Peter Catholic School in North Saint Paul, where her unwavering dedication and warmth left an indelible mark on students and colleagues.

Known for the many cards she sent, Cheryl had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special and remembered. Her BIG HEART and selflessness were hallmarks of her character-she always thought of others before herself and found joy in bringing happiness to those around her.

Her generosity and care touched the lives of many, and her legacy of compassion and kindness will forever be treasured. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the countless hearts she touched. #143
