Dallas Rae Lindgren
Age 81 passed away on July 28th, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ragna and David Lindgren.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Alexandra Lindgren-Gibson, her sisters Christine (Chick) Lane, and Nora (Roger) Kraemer, and many other family, friends, and loved ones.

Dallas was a graduate of St. Paul Central High School and Macalester College. She was a civil rights worker, a traveler, and a lover of Minnesota history. She taught elementary school in Prague, junior high in LA, ELL classes in Minnesota and spent most of her career working as an archivist at the MN Historical Society. She was active in women's organizations, as a member of the AAUW and a founder of Women Historians of the Midwest. She read constantly and loved visiting a bookstore or library. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and friend.

A celebration of her life will be held with close family and friends this August. Please reach out to the family if you'd like to attend.
