Daniel Boardman

Our hearts are breaking over the passing of our beloved Dan Boardman. He died on June 18, 2015 with his loving brother, John, at his side and an aura of love from family and friends surrounding him. One can only imagine the fight an Illinois state wrestling champion (with the world's best fireman's-carry) put up against cancer. Dan grew up in a happy and loving home in Dekalb, Illinois with his now-deceased parents, Jack and Joanne, and "partner-in-crime" brother, John, and sweet sister, Stephanie. Dan continued to live a full, happy and beautiful life as devoted husband to Jamie and world's best dad to his children, Hannah and Jackson. Dan inspired all those who met him to smile and enjoy life in the moment! His sense of humor and awesome musical talent entertained many and made life a heck of a lot more fun. An open memorial service for Dan will be held at 2PM on Thursday, June 25th, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix, MN. The address is: 150 5th St, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047. There will be a reception for all attendees on the church lawn immediately following the memorial tribute. Private interment to follow reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Christ Lutheran Church for families in need or to the family if preferred.
