Deneice Oroszvary

Deneice McInroy Oroszvary, age 72, of Richfield, MN, died peacefully at her long-term-care home on November 21, 2024. She was born November 8, 1952 in Oklahoma City to David and Lois McInroy.

Deneice had been a stay-at-home mother for her 6 children. She was fiercely committed to her husband, Julius Oroszvary of Yardley, PA, until his death in 2014.

She was passionate about education and learning and strove to instill curiosity in her children. She was an avid board gamer, an insatiable reader, and a perennial seamstress and crocheter, always better at starting new projects than completing them. An exceptionally gentle person, Deneice cared deeply for others and would go out of her way to help strangers. She was enchanted by life’s simple pleasures and guilelessly shared her joy and excitement with everyone else.

Deneice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julius; and her brother, David McInroy of Hereford, AZ. She is survived by her 6 children and 4 grandchildren.

Deneice chose to donate her body to the University of Minnesota for use in medical research, and her remains will be disposed of via water cremation. Her family will have a private memorial.
