Dennis Lee Deloye

Dennis Lee DeLoye, age 69, of Spooner Wisconsin (formerly of St. Paul, MN), passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 22, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lucille (Love) DeLoye; brothers Jerome Born, James Born and John "Jack" DeLoye and sister Debra Horning. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sherrie (Collins) DeLoye; children Tania (Joel) Parent, Dennis (Nicolette) DeLoye, Jeff (Leticia) Rosalez and Michelle Lee; grandchildren Brooklynn (Angelo) Scaffido, Isaac, Owen, Lincoln, Brielle, Caden, Cuavanté, Elijah, Elon, Isabella, Mercedes, Alexus, Nathan and Troy; siblings Judy Bauer, Donna (Thom) Berg, Donny DeLoye, Barbara DeLoye, Pamela DeLoye, Steven DeLoye, Cindy Holmen; many nieces, nephews and friends. Oh, and his dogs Willow and Roscoe.

Dennis found joy and contentment in simple things like crisp folded laundry and a neatly kept lawn. He was always thankful for every blessing he received no matter how small. He had a heart of gold, eyes that twinkled and a smile that could warm any soul. He had a wild sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was a man of his word. He was proud of all he called family and proud of where he came from. He enjoyed sports and loved watching Twins games. He loved all Gods people and creatures with a special fondness for dogs. Dennis found a special peace and calm before his passing and now awaits the rest of his family in heaven from where he looks down on his loved ones with a heart full of pride and gratitude.
