Dennis "Hawk" Hawkins

Age 70 of Oakdale passed away on January 15th. He is preceded in death by his son Daniel Hawkins and his parents Celestine and Wanda. He will be sadly missed by his wife Teri Schichel; children Erin(Jim) Collins and Nathan Hawkins; grandchildren Lidi Collins and Carter Collins; siblings Cheryl(Greg) Price, Craig(Barb) Hawkins, Celeste(Tim) Terbilcox, Todd(Denelle) Hawkins, and Jim(Amy) Hawkins plus many other beloved family and friends.

Hawk was well known for his stubborn nature but he was better known for his kind and generous heart. An avid fisherman, golfer, and softball player, Hawk not only had a knack for sports but also for keeping his uniform eternally dirty. His shoulder-shaking belly laugh was a treat to hear and will not be the only thing that is deeply missed by all who knew him. He loved and was loved beyond measure.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday January 26 with a visitation an hour prior in the Sanctuary building at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church 900 Stillwater Rd, Mahtomedi. Memorials are preferred to Teri Schichel.
