Donald Lee Spiczka, age 66, of New Brighton, MN, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 13, 1952, in Roswell, New Mexico, he was the third of six children to Florian and Mary Spiczka.
After graduating from Mounds View High School in 1970, Don went on to Southwest Minnesota State University. In 1974 he graduated with a BA in Business and Restaurant Management. His favorite pastime was playing football for both his high school and college.
Right after college, Don went to work for a restaurant in Chicago. He lived in several statesa�"Illinois, Michigan, West Virginia, and Floridaa�"before returning home to Minnesota to care for his mother.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Florian Spiczka, and his oldest brother, James Spiczka. Donald will be terribly missed by his mother, Mary Spiczka; siblings, Robert Spiczka, Gerald Spiczka (Sandy), Larry Spiczka (Donna), and Ann Marie Aubitz (Brian); sister-in-law, Arlene Spiczka; Nieces and Nephews, and many other family and friends.
Celebration of Life Thursday, November 15, 2:00 P.M. at SIMPLE TRADITIONS by BRADSHAW, 671 S. Snelling Ave, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior.
