Dr. Greg Karl Koch
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and close friends on Friday, June 8th, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer, age 68. Greg was born in St. Paul, MN, to Karl and Dolores Koch. He grew up in St. Paul's Highland Park neighborhood and graduated from Macalester College, and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for over 41 years in the St. Paul area. First at Midway Dental and later at G2 Dental in Forest Lake, MN, and G2 Dental South in Inver Grove Heights. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Christine; daughter, Tracey Gutzmer (Jeff), son, Brian Koch (Jennifer Meyer-Koch); mother, Dolores Koch; sisters, Karen Young (Jay) and Lynn Berg (David); grandchildren, Aiden, Ty, Logan, Isabella, Sophia, and Maya; and trusted hunting dogs, Cracker and Drifter. He was preceded in death by father, Karl Koch. Greg was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, a loyal friend, a respected employer and passionate in everything he undertook. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by us all. Visitation Saturday, June 16th, 1:00pm to 4:00pm at SIMPLE TRADITIONS by BRADSHAW, 671 S. Snelling Avenue, St Paul.
