An avid bowler and gardener, Elaine was in the Sweet Adeline Singers, and was a master quilter. She spent much time volunteering at the Church of St. Matthew, providing the Eucharist to others. Elaine loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren most of all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jim; her parents; and her siblings Donny, Margie, Jerry, and Mary. She is survived by her children, Dan (Pat), Dave (Kathy), Doug (LaVerne), Lisa, and Lori (John); beloved sisters, Ruthie, Jeanne, and Judy; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 29th, 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. MATTHEW, corner of Hall and Robie. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow. Many thanks to the caring and loving staff at Southview Senior Living and the Hospice Care Team. Memorials preferred to St. Matthew's Rosary Society.
