George Emerson, Sr.

6/24/1950 to 9/24/2019

Survived by wife, Sandra Emerson of 34 years of loving marriage; son, George Emerson, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Beth Emerson; grandsons, Greyson and Keegan Emerson; daughter, Pearl Emerson; and many other brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. George came to MN from Indiana with his family-father David, mother Betty and sister Rick-in the 1970’s. South St Paul is where he made home and found the love of his life, Sandra. George enjoyed spending time with his wife riding motorcycles, listing to music, and spending lots of time with family and friends. George loved helping people, it did not matter who he just loved to help. Family was very important to George, he would always find ways to bring family together. George loved spending time at the family cabin. He enjoyed teaching the kids how to fish, build camp fires, pitch tents, and catch frogs and snakes. Most of all the thing that brought him the most joy and put the biggest smile on his face was spending time with his grandsons and hearing the name PAPA. He loved to fix anything they managed to break, fixing things was something he loved to do. Overall George will be greatly missed and is someone that family and friends loved and cherished.

A Celebration of Life for George is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th at 5pm. It will be at the Croatian Hall 445 2nd Ave S, South St Paul, MN 55075.
