April 19th, 1940, Aaron and Ruth Spearman welcomed their 5th child, George Edward, into the family. George attended Dunbar Elementary School and after he reached the 9th grade began working with his father. George enlisted in the U.S. Army from September 1958 to September 1960. George lived a full, adventurous life, becoming a member of the Black Eagles Motorcycle Club and later a member of the Sin City Motorcycle Club. He had a passion for riding motorcycles. He was also a great artist, mechanic, and carpenter teaching himself these trades. He was a man with a big smile who dared to be different.

After knowing each other for over 40 years, George married his loving wife Lucille (Suggs) on the beautiful summer day of July 17th, 2017. They lived in Granite City IL for a couple of years before moving to St. Paul, MN. Although he would go "wherever she goes", George did not like the cold and barely left the house in the winter. He enjoyed going to Golden Corral, the casino, attending church services with Lucille at Fellowship Church Woodbury, and spending time with family, especially watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

George went on to eternal life on April 6th, 2024 in St. Paul, MN. He was preceded in death by both parents Aaron and Ruth Spearman, all of his siblings Lionel, Essie, Earnest, Orlando, and Sharon. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lucille Spearman of St. Paul MN, his children Sheila (Larry) Arnold of Venice IL, George Spearman Jr. of Granite City IL, Ella's Jones of Canton GA, Andre Woods of East St. Louis, Reggie (Celeste) Donlow of Alton IL, Linda Lenoir of Alton IL, Kelina (Ted) Morgan of Hudson WI, Lakesha Darden of Pensacola FL, and DeMarcus Suggs of Minneapolis MN, grandchildren Justin Arnold, Brandon Spearman, Charisse Murray, Jerome Jones, Shameka Mayfield, Erica Mayfield, Lenora Mayfield, Kayla Mayfield, Andre Woods Jr., Rayshawn Woods, LaKisha Drew, Devontae Donlow, DeAngelo Donlow, Reggie Donlow, Daisha Woodson, Olesha Holmes, Marcus Drew, Ashton Robinson, Jessica Lenoir,Charsalyn Robinson, Alisha Robinson, DeAndre Darden, Kelsey Darden, Kimari Suggs-Morgan, Trinity Morgan, Nasi Berry-Bey, Xavier Suggs, Aisha Suggs.
