Gerald was a man of many interests. He raced motorcycles, built hot rods (even founding an early Minnesota hot rod club), was a member of the St. Pascal's Men's Club, was a Boy Scout Leader, and a member of the Civilian Air Patrol. He was also a heavy equipment operator and a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49. Above all else, Gerald was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Reynolds. He went to prepare a place for his wife of 63 years, Margaret, and is survived by his children, Mary (Steve), Kathy (Geronimo), and John (Renate); grandchildren, Matthew, Kelly, Jeremy, Alleia, Isabel, Sonja, and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Meeka, Dominick, Kamilla, Jaydon, and many other loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27th, 10:00 AM, with visitation 9:00-10:00AM, all at the Cerenity Senior Center Chapel, 200 Earl St., St. Paul. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Mahtomedi.
