Gerald Budde

Age 89 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather Gerald passed away peacefully on February 11, 2017. Born in Minneapolis, December 21, 1927. Survived by son, Jeffrey (Paula); daughter, Karen Budde Lovro; granddaughters, Elise and Laura Budde and Katherine Lovro. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice (nee Ott) Budde, parents, Ann and Theodore Budde, sister Margaret Pinkerton, and brother Robert Budde. Raised in Wabasha, MN, Jerry graduated from Hamline University, where he had been inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. He served his country in Korea as Sargeant in the U.S. Army, and worked at Brown and Bigelow for 38 years until his retirement. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with service Thursday, February 16th, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to service, all at SIMPLE TRADITONS by BRADSHAW, 671 Snelling Ave. S, St. Paul. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice
