Guadalupe Zubirán, Lupe to her friends and family

Left this world suddenly in her long lived St. Paul home surrounded by family; the way she would have wanted; on January 23rd 2022. She was born to Concepción and Guadalupe Cuellar on December 4th, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas.

Survived by Husband Porfirio; Children Elias, Veronica (Chad), Sonya (Carmine), Jessie (Tony). Grandchildren Santino, Nya, Gianna, Natalya, CJ, Great-grandchild Eevee. Sisters Martha (Reynaldo), Sylvia, Father Concepción; Preceded by Mother Guadalupe and Brother Adolfo.

Lupe and Porfirio married in the summer of 1978 together 44 years in St. Paul, MN, where they raised a family. Lupe's smile was a sight to see, she was loving, kind, caring, patient, warm, joyful, always so silly, a bit stubborn at times (definitely passed down to her children) and of course a force to be reckoned with. Lupe would truly invite just about anyone into her home, where everyone felt part of the family. Many crazy, happy, loving memories in the house, in the yard, at the lake and of course around the table enjoying home cooked comida handed down through generations. The kindness and friendship Lupe gave to not only friends and family, but to the strangers that passed through; who didn't stay strangers for long.

Lupe rejoins her loved ones in heaven and at the time of this writing her father Concepción is now being reunited with his daughter and loved ones in heaven. Lupe's family was the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Lupe's kind sprite, passion for selflessness, love for life and it's experiences will live on through us all.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM, Simple Traditions by Bradshaw, 488 Humboldt Ave., Saint Paul, MN. Please join us in celebrating Guadalupe or join in by clicking on the live stream link below.
