Gurseal Aldridge lovingly known as 'Granny Gurt- of Minnea lis. Minnesota passed away on January 15. 2025. due to nafuraJ causes. Gurseal was born on August I l. T956. to }immie and Sylvia Beverly in East Chicago Indiana. She was the oldest of 12 children.

Gurseal attended Donald E Gavit Jr./Sr. High School in Hammond. IN. During her lunior year of high school moved to Oakland. California and graduated from £rernont High School. In 1975. Gurseal embarked on a lifelong partnership with Johnny Ray Aldridge. the love of her life. Their union was a testament to enduring love and commitment. and together they built a beautiful family, blessed with three children: Johnny Jr.. Sylvia. and Ronald. Gurseal's devotion to her family was unwavering. and she poured her heart and soul into creating a home.

Gurseal wanted to further her education and she continued her studies at Saint Paul College in Saini Paul, MN. She later embarked on a long career working as a security guard at Securitas in Minneapolis. MW that she thourgh ly en}oyed for 20 years until she retired in 2021.

GurseaJ cherished family. particularly her grandchildren. and pursued her passions with enthusiasm. whether it was trip to the casino. a day of fishing. enjoying music. or slaying stylish with the latest fashions. Her smile could lighr up a room. her laughter was infectious, and she always spoke her mind. Her role as a mother extended to being a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren. whom she adored. She Found immense toy in their laughter and milestones. creating cherished memories that will forever be held dear to their hearts.

Gurseal is proceeded in death by her husband Johnny Ray Aldridge, Father Jimmie Lee Beverly ]r.. mother Sylvia Beverly. brothers Kerry Lee Beverly. and Tony Lee Beverly. The is survived by brothers )onathan Dixon. Ricky. Glen. Timmie. Jimmie. and Joseph Beverly. she is survived by sisters Sandra Beverly. Connie Oliver. and April Beverly. Her children Johnny. Sylvia. and Ronald Aldridge. Her nine grandchildren Aminah. Chuku. Kyler, Amarianna. Ronald Ir.. Roderick. Imani. Ashanti. and Taylor. and a host of nieces. nephews. family. and friends.

While we mourn the loss of Gurseal. we take comfort in knowing that she lived a full and vibrant like surrounded by love. She will forever be remembered for her kind heart. generous spirit and love for her
