Passed away peacefully with family in Onamia, MN. Preceded in death by husband of 69 years, George: infant son, Eugene; siblings, Mary, Albert, Joseph, Edward, and Celia. Survived by sons, George "Joe" (Rosemarie), Allen (Carol), and Col. Roy "Jake" (Kathy); grandchildren, Debra (Jim) Shetka, George (Leah) Shetka, Amy (John) Sucha, and Ann (Dave) Madden; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and favorite dog, Sport. Helen was born in Veseli, MN in 1911. She taught in a one room school house. Moved to St. Paul in 1935 where she and George raised their family. Enjoyed summers on Half Moon Island, Lake Mille Lacs. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:00 A.M. at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2055 Bohland Avenue. Visitation on hour prior to Mass at church. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
