Jacob Thomas Amdahl, born on July 1st, 1989, touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on October 6th, 2023.
Jacob was a son, brother, friend, and confidant to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Jacob's passion for life was infectious. He was a man of many talents, always eager to share his knowledge and to help those in need. Whether it was through his love of music, food, movies, or social justice, his joy and energy brought a warmth to all those around him. His colleagues and friends admired his dedication, intelligence, and his ability to keep things lighthearted even in the most challenging times and to make them seem manageable through his steadfast determination.
Jacob leaves behind a family that loved him deeply, including his parents, Nancy, Greg, and Steve, his siblings, Keane, Peter, Laura, Aaron, and Allyse and his extended family and friends, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
In remembrance of Jacob, a Celebration of Life event will be held at The Wilderness Event Center (1010 W Lake St in Minneapolis) on Oct. 16th from 5pm-9pm. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering and celebrating his life and to share stories that capture the essence of the extraordinary person he was.
Jacob Thomas Amdahl may have left this world, but his love, laughter, and the impact he made on the lives of all those who were lucky enough to know him will live on forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear Jacob, your memory will forever shine in our hearts.
