James “Skinman” Aloysius Jenniges
Age 81, of St. Paul
Passed into eternal life and was greeted by his son, Paul, and his Lord and Savior on April 8, 2021, surrounded by his five surviving children. Longtime Westsider. Loved by many, enemy to no one.  He was born in 1939 in Lucan, MN to Aloysius and Elizabeth Jenniges. He grew up and spent much of his life in Wanda, MN, graduated from St. Anne’s Catholic High in Wabasso  before moving to the Twin Cities. He was united marriage in 1961 to Margaret Anne (Hofmann) Jenniges. From their union, they had six children who they raised in the West Side of St. Paul and were staples within the community as well as the faith community of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. He was a longstanding member in the St. Matthew’s Men’s Club and member and provided countless hours of community service and volunteer work. Jim was a talented carpenter, skillsman, entrepreneur, gardener, tradesman and a self taught incredible man to which he passed his talents and knowledge to many. Jim was blessed to enjoy his retirement years doing all the things he loved with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul; brother, Donald. He is survived by children, Kevin J. (Donna), Dino J. (Colleen), Tamera K O’Neill, Teresa A. (Patrick) Trost, and Mark A.; daughter-in-law, Mary; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Beranek, Gerard (Leona), Elizabeth Hirsch, Jane (Pat), Carol, Marilyn (Thomas) Eykyn, Martha and John; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:30 AM at ST. MATTHEW'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (510 Hall Ave) with visitation one hour prior at church. Private family interment St. Matthias Cemetery, Wanda, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
