Jodi Lynn (Miller) Thurston

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On August 1, 2023, Jodi Lynn Thurston joined her heavenly family and gained her wings at the age of 56, which was just too early.

Born on August 6, 1966 to Leroy and Nan Miller. Jodi grew up in Saint Paul with her younger sister, Shannon Schwagel (Nephews Lucas and Ben). She attended Harding High School and graduated in 1984.

Jodi was a sucker for a movie theater; helping them stay in business whether it was a rerun or a new movie. She loved spending time working on her many crafts, especially her diamond paintings; there was never a moment her table wasn't covered in tiny diamonds from her pending projects. Most of all, Jodi thrived when she was around her children and grandkids.

Jodi is survived by the father of her children, Todd Magistad; oldest son, Josh (Krista); daughter, Alyssa; youngest son, Matthew; and her 3 beautiful grandchildren, Maryn, Arya, and Kye.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nan L. Miller and her father, Leroy A. Miller.
