Josefina Nunez, age 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024, at North Memorial Health Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was born November 14,1950, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to the late Patricio Nunez-Vega and Bruna Perez-Hernandez.

She is predeceased by her sisters Sixta and Roberta Nunez. She is survived by her husband Victor Manuel Mejia; her siblings Maria, Norberto, Esteban, Benita, Emiliano, Aurelio, Ponciano, Gerarda, Isaias, and Francisca; her 7 children, Olga, Luisa, Paula, Maura, Victor, Maria, and Joel; her 21 grandchildren and 14 Great grandchildren.

Josefina was a loving and caring person and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her pets. We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 20th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Iglecia Tabernaculo Bautista, 726 East Johnson Avenue, Jonesboro, Arkansas. A graveside service will begin Saturday, December 21st at 10:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery, SW corner of West Matthews Ave at Loberg Lane, Jonesboro, Arkansas
