Kellan Michael Ziebol

d. December 24, 2024

Kellan Michael Ziebol, age 29, passed away on December 24th, 2024. His family expresses their deep gratitude for the past six months spent reconnecting and engaging in many positive interactions.

Kellan had a gift for math and impressed everyone with his chess acumen in childhood. He could figure out technologies with ease, from the bicycles he took apart as a child to the computers he programmed in his teen years to the cars and iron working of his adulthood. During outings, he had this incredible gift of striking up conversations with total strangers, weaving connections so quickly and effortlessly. He loved brain teasers, fantasy novels, and playing cribbage with extended family. Kellan was a natural athlete, playing baseball, football, lacrosse and wrestling. He especially excelled in wrestling where he captivated everyone around him with his skill, tenacity and brutal strength.

Kellan was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Ziebol, and maternal grandmother, Anna Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Jeff Ziebol and Gloria Askland; his siblings, Haleigh, Brenna, Daniel, Linnea, Jillian, and Allicyn; his maternal grandfather, Stanley Johnson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He aspired to create a family of his own with a wife and children, but tragically passed away prematurely due to complications resulting from his addiction.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on January 6 starting at 1:30pm at Simple Traditions by Bradshaw, 671 South Snelling Avenue. Funeral Service will follow at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to the family.
