It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kelly Jean Kivel-Lindgren, who breathed her last on October 6, 2024. She was a beacon of light in our lives, gracing us with her kind and caring nature.
Kelly was born on January 7, 1970, and throughout her life, she exuded a passion for dance that was unmatched. Her infectious laughter, quick wit, and love for music endeared her to all who knew her. Her bright spirit lit up the room, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
Despite facing formidable challenges, Kelly faced her battle with cancer for a year with grace and courage, never losing her positive outlook on life. Her strength and resilience inspired all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by those who survive her: husband, Tim Lindgren; children, Breanna (Louis) Jelinsky, Raelyn Buchan and their father, Jim Buchan; stepson, Ethan Blaisdell; parents, James and Kathleen Kivel; brothers, Brian (Jill), Collin (Daryl), Daniel (Kelly), Adam Kivel; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her former mother-in-law, Linda Shafer.
In celebration of her life, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2024 St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church (4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake) with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
Kelly's legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched, and her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
