Lois (Macziewski) Kolb

Lois (Macziewski) Kolb, 77, of Bloomington, Minnesota passed away peacefully in her home on February 9, 2024 surrounded by family. Lois was born on September 30, 1946 to Lorraine and Alvin Macziewski in Montevideo, MN. As a child Lois's family moved to Bloomington, Minnesota where she would eventually meet and marry Kenneth Kolb. Lois and Ken lived in Bloomington for a while after they were married and then moved to Richfield where they raised their three children: John, Pauline and Troy. During those years Lois was very involved in all of her children's activities and worked in several roles in the Richfield school district. In 2001, after their children were grown, Lois and Ken moved to their dream home in Bloomington, MN. Lois enjoyed walking, biking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. In 2013 Ken passed away and shortly after Lois developed dementia. She was able to stay in her home until she passed away with the care of her children.

Lois is survived by her children Pauline (Derrick) Schultz, Troy (Kathy) Kolb, her grandchildren Olivia, Tyler, Brandt, Vincent, Gwendolyn and August. Her brothers Loren and Jeff and sisters Jan, Pam, Sue and Joanne.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ken, her son John, her mother Lorraine, father Alvin, brothers Dennis, Arvid and Randy
