Marc Litzenberg

Marc R. Litzenberg, 65, died suddenly but peacefully May 31, 2022 with his family by his side. Marc was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed spending his time at home in Saint Paul with Jo reading or putzing about, caring for and watching his grandchildren’s activities, constantly reorganizing and listening to his vast record collection, maintaining bicycles for his family and community, and in the wilderness with his friends. He was happy to spend his time bringing joy and happiness to his community by volunteering at the neighborhood skating rink, commissioning a beautiful mural, and transforming a fence into a whimsical trail. He was a devout supporter of labor and advocate for social equity. He was a thoughtful and uncomplicated man who gave sensible and sage advice when invited.  His gifts were thoughtful and spontaneous, his messages infused with whimsy and love. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 43 years Jo, children Aaron (Allison), Kate (Pablo), Tracy (Robert), and 3 grandchildren. We will honor his memory with a wake from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on June 10 and a funeral service June 11 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Simple Traditions 671 Snelling  Ave. S. in St. Paul.
