Age 75, passed away October 14, 2016 from kidney failure secondary to cancer treatment. Preceded in death by parents, Alice and Borg Nielsen. Survived by sister, Kathryn (Jerry) Schiltgen and brother, Randy (Mary Kay) Nielsen; niece, Kristin (Jake) Daniels; nephews, Michael (Tiffany) Schiltgen, Paul (Robin) Schiltgen, Timothy Schiltgen, and Todd (Laura) Nielsen; great-nieces, Tehya and Annelise Daniels, Audrey Nielsen, and Liz Karsten; great-nephews, Henry and George Nielsen. She is also survived by a loving, extended family and many, loving and wonderful friends, including Carrie Hanner. Margaret was a lifelong resident of the St. Paul area and a 33 A½ year teacher in the White Bear school system, teaching 2nd grade at Hugo, Lincoln, Golfview, and Willow Schools. Service Thursday, October 20, 11:00 A.M. at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 Snelling Avenue South. Burial Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 P.M. at GLORIA DEI, as well as one hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's and Cystic Fibrosis research or donor's choice. Margaret, we all love you and will miss you.
