Sr. Maria Adela Wal (Sr. Susan), 93, served the Missionary Church in St. Paul, MN since
1970. She was a member of the Congregation for 62 years. She was known for her hard
working, generosity toward fellow sisters and great love for missions. She was born in
Jadlowa, Poland on April 3rd , 1931, to Stanislaw and Katarzyna Wal. Her parents died
when she was in the United State. She is survived by her sibling: Wanda, the only
remaining of 4 children. The family of Sr. Susan also wishes to express their
appreciation to the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver and all those that surrounded
her with their love, comfort, support and prayers during her illness.
A visitation and prayer service will be held at the convent of the sisters, Tuesday, Mar. 26 from 4:00 pm
to 8:00 pm. We will start with the chaplet of Divine Mercy and Vespers at 3:30 pm. Mass of
Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Wednesday, Mar. 27, at the Convent at 265 Century Ave
