Marilyn “Mari” Elizabeth (Behrens) Schulze
Age 60, of Arkansas City, KS passed away June 4, 2021. Mari was a loving, compassionate soul with a heart of gold. She spent many hours and years raising and showing her beloved Shih Tzu’s. When not travelling with the dogs, she delighted in doting on her family, watching the Nebraska Huskers and spending a quiet evening watching the Hallmark channel. The best promotion she ever received in her life was to that of “Grandma” to her granddaughters. She will be missed dearly. Mari is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margie; parents-in-law, Wanda Jean and Donald Paul Schulze; and brother, Robbie Behrens. She is survived by her children, Sean (Priya) Schulze and Darci (Chris) Carson; grandchildren, Kirsten and Brianna Hedrick; former husband and best friend, Paul Schulze; siblings, Linda (Larry) Robinette, Danny (Carla) Behrens, Rusty (Tammy) Behrens, Ricky (Jaime) Behrens, Jackie (Bob) Standon and Valerie (Corey) Harrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial service Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 AM at  SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH (302 South B Street, Arkansas City) at 10 a.m. with Parker Cemetery following the service.
