Mark Eastman

August 6, 1956 — October 30, 2024

Mark Eastman, born on August 6, 1956, in Rice Lake, WI, passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 68. As a longtime resident of St. Paul, MN, Mark carried a spirit that could brighten anyone's day. His sense of humor, infectious smile, and loving soul were a source of joy to all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his dear mother, Phyllis, and his siblings, Judi, Sharon, Kathleen, Scott, Brian, and Michele. Mark was deeply loved by his partner of 22 years, Steven Katz, who stood by him through everything life threw his way. Preceding him in death were his father, Charles, and brothers, Greg, Larry, and Michael, who now welcome him with open arms.

Mark had a passion for art, cooking, and gardening. He also loved to collect antiques and jewelry. However, his heart belonged to his dogs, whom he loved very much. While our world dims without Mark's ever-present grin and hearty laughter, we know his spirit lives on. His legacy of love and kindness resonates through those who cherished him.

Memorial services will be held at a later date, where we'll gather to celebrate Mark's remarkable life and the joy he brought to each of us.

Let us close with these comforting words from Mark: "I'm writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God above. Where there's no more tears or sadness, there's just eternal love. "As you walk your path and feel the breeze upon your face, know that I am walking with you, just half a step behind, always ready with a gentle hug or soft embrace. And remember, when your time comes, you're not going; you're simply coming here to be with me.
