Martha (Mardy) Ann Goodrich, 74, of Hopkins, passed away in her sleep this February, 2024. Mardy spent most of her life in the west suburbs teaching young people how to ski, golf, play soccer, and be the best they could be. Mardy's magnetic kindness and warmth will be remembered by many.
Mardy is survived by her son Bard (Natalie Moore), daughter Carey (Tim Chapdelaine), and five grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Grace (22), Harry (20), Madeleine (17), Leo (15), and Marlo (13) as well as her five siblings (spouses), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Elizabeth Murphy, and her son Brent.
Family was at the center Mardy's life. She took great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Despite the passing of her beloved son, Mardy's family remained a constant source of strength and joy throughout her life's journey. Her resilience, intellect, and unwavering love were a testament to her character, inspiring all who knew her.
