Mary Bergland, Certified Nurse Practioner died peacefully in her sleep at home in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Mary served as School Nurse Practioner in Cochrane Fountain City and Winona Public Schools for 24 years. Previous to that she had served as County Public Health Nurse in MN, WY, MT and as a hospital nurse in SD. Mary is survived by her two children, Arne (Susan Korda) Helena, MT, Kristina Fahnestock (Maurice) St Paul, grandchildren Grete, Ingrid, Erik and Kaia and her niece and two nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Kermit Bergland and her two sons Rolf and Jon Bergland.
Memorial services at Central Lutheran Church of Winona Wednesday, October 19 at 11am with visitation 1 hour before. Memorials preferred to Central Lutheran Church of Winona and The Winona Schools Foundation.
