Monica Joy Holley

Monica Joy Karen Lynne Holley, age 14 of St. Paul, was tragically taken from us all too soon on October 4, 2023. She was a kind and friendly person with a loving soul. She was energetic and had a broad range of interests, from volleyball and track to musical theater. She was a natural comedian with a quality of preciousness about her.

She leaves behind a large family who will miss her dearly:
her mother, Monica Joy Holley; co-parent, Lardez Luster, Jr.; siblings, Romaney Joy MuGoodwin, Kamiah Joy Holley, Anthony Charles Holley III, Andrica Joy Luster, Shemariya Burnett, Le’Andre Anthony Charles Holley III, Ka'Mareon Brown, Nyra Luster,  Nybrea Luster, Lardez Luster III, Montez Luster, Raven Kiona Rahn, Aviana MuGoodwin-Belmares; great-grandmother Kathleen Lawhead; grandmothers Gail Wright,  Karen Walker, Gwen Troy, Pat Carter; grandfathers, Anthony Holley, Billy Wright; godmother, Sheryl Anderson; many aunts, uncles and a large extended family.

She will be received in heaven by those who've gone before her:
her father, Anthony Holley; great-great-grandmother, Dorothy McCluney; cousin, Jaylen Wright.

A visitation for Monica Joy's friends, teachers and family will be 5-8pm Friday at SIMPLE TRADITIONS by BRADSHAW, 671 Snelling Ave S. All students should come accompanied by a parent or guardian. A private funeral service for invited family and friends will be held at a later date.
