Nancy Johnson

Nancy Lee Johnson, age 77 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020.

She is survived by her children, Earliene Johnson, Earl Jr. (Vivian) Johnson, Billy Johnson; grandchildren, Nasya Johnson, Louis Abraham, Billy Johnson-Smith Jr., Jasmine Schultz-Johnson; siblings, Mary Jo Johnson, Gene Elm; 2 sisters-in-law, Sharon M. and Marie Johnson; 3 brothers-in-law, John W., Merrill L., and Michael P. Johnson; and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and newphews, as well as great- and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Linden Johnson; sister, Jeannie "Birdie" Elm, father-in-law, Wallace sherman Johnson; mother-in-law, Dorothy Lucille Johnson; sister-in-law, Janice L. Dryden; brother-in-law, Alonzo L. Johnson.

Nancy had a beautiful smile and was full of laughter. She was kind-hearted and well-spoken. While she was strong-willed and determined, she was also warm and welcoming, and a mom to all the kids in the neighborhood. She was a fun-loving grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. They will miss her.

A family funeral service will be held 3PM Monday, November 16 at SIMPLE TRADITIONS, 671 Snelling Ave S. As there is limited seating capacity, friends are invited to tune in to a live webcast of the service, found on this page.
