Nancy Ludwig

Nancy C. Ludwig, age 84, of Saint Paul, MN, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
Born on May 27, 1935 in Madison, Wisconsin to Merville and Lucile Neel. She was the younger of two siblings. Nancy married Richard Ludwig on August 2, 1958. She attended Central High School in St. Paul, MN, and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul with a degree in Nursing. Preceded in death by husband Richard; brother James Neel; grandson, Matthew. Survived by son Michael (Patty) of Cloquet, MN; daughter Heidi (David Handt) of Mound, MN; and daughter Carol Cummings of Roseville, MN; grandchildren Joshua Ludwig, Lauren Cummings and Alec Cummings. We will all miss Nancy's great sense of humor and contagious smile. She loved her church, her family, traveling, gardening and reading. Nancy's generosity and compassion for others will forever be her legacy.
Evening visitation at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Monday June 3, 2019 4-6pm. Visitation 12PM, service 1 PM Tuesday June 4, 2019 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 Snelling Ave S., St. Paul, MN. Reception to follow service at Gloria Dei with interment at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN. Memorials preferred to "Sanctuary Renewal Project" at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
