Celebrating the Life of Ralph Latell "Rico" Flanagan
"Rico: died on April 5, 2024, peacefully at Fairview hospital, Rico was a great, wonderful, loving husband and grandfather who was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, all that knew Rico knew that he was a Huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Rico was a loving, caring, funny, dependable, and charming man who was adored by all who meet him. He blessed many with his joy everywhere he went, Rico was also known to be a Jack of all trades. He was a very gifted guitarist who loved to play the bass guitar, a great mechanic and carpenter. He loved to cook the best desserts from scratch. He was an expertise in handywork around the house and an awesome carpenter, that loved to build and fix anything . He was the guy to get the job done. Rico loved to play the bass guitar, fix cars, listen to music, hang with his family, and call his children daily, he was a devoted father of 7 and grandfather of 35 who brought the biggest joy to his life. Rico is survived by his wife Mary Flanagan and his children Veronica, Tivill. Nicole. Ralphina, Micheal, and Ashley. He's proceeded in death by his mother and father Ruth and Latell Flanagan, his daughter Martine Flanagan, and his siblings Warren, Marvin, and Mark Flanagan.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 am, at Simple Traditions by Bradshaw, 488 Humboldt Avenue, Saint Paul, MN. A visitation will begin one hour prior at 10:00 am. Mr. Flanagan will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights following the service.
