Ralph Wassmann

Age 93, of St. Paul Passed away peacefully on February 1, 2018. He is survived by his wife Ruth of 66 years, daughter Cyndy Johnson, grandson Matthew Johnson, sister Delores Lofgren, and nephews, Gary, Don, and Tom Lofgren. He served in the Navy in WWII as a Radio Man second class, in Ie Shima, and was decorated with the Asiatic Pacific Area Ribbon, the Bronze Star, American Area Ribbon, and World War II Victory Medal. Ralph was a career US Postal employee, and upon retirement, Ralph and Ruth wintered for years in Mazatlan, Mexico. Ralph loved to hunt and fish, and was an avid ballroom dancer. A Memorial Service at ST JAMES LUTHERAN CHURCH, 440 Annapolis St West, West St Paul, will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018. Service at 11:00 a.m. Visitation one hour in advance of the service.
