Richard M. Kopren
Age 54 of Cottage Grove, passed away October 15, 2018 in his home. Survived by his wife, Ferrol; daughters, Taylor and Bridget; sons, Chase and Ryan; father, Irv; brothers, Mike (Lisa), and Ken (Terri); Grandma Gladys; and nieces, Lia and Gretchen.
Preceded in death by his mother, Sandy and grandparents.
Rick's true passion was riding motorcycles and snow mobiles with family and friends. He also loved cooking and trying new recipes, entertaining, meticulously building and creating things with his hands, camping, traveling, and just hanging out with friends. He was the quintessential "Handyman" and loved new projects around the house. He was a loving and devoted husband that adored his wife and a loving father to his children. He had a wide circle of friends that will miss him dearly and especially his "Ricky Dance."
Visitation October 20th at 9:00 am at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8500 Hillside Trail in Cottage Grove with services following at 10am. A luncheon will follow at American Legion, 628 Broadway Avenue in St. Paul Park from 11:30 - 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
