Age 85 of St. Paul, died peacefully at home on April 5, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Agnes; brother, Denny; niece, Kelly; Rhoda Sykes (Michael's mother); and in-law, Jim Bruner. Survived by loving wife, Gail; sons, Michael (Angelica) and Richard; grandchildren, Nicole (Tony), Alex, Walter, and Charles; in-laws, Rachel Hollstadt, Gordy and Rose Eftefield, Mary Bruner, George and Midge Rahn; nieces and nephews, Tracy, Riki, Margie, Marisa, Paul, Jared, Brian, Laurie, Julie, and Shelly; cousins, Kathy Jokela and Mike Lund of Brainerd; and many dear friends.
Spence was a photographer for St. Paul Pioneer Press Dispatch for 34 years, one of the founding members of the OL' Timers MC of MN, and a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He loved his family, friends, tattoos from Acme on Arcade, Harley's, all types of music, and animals--especially Bubba and Chevy. Special thanks to all of the Doctors, Nurses and Aides from the VA Medical Center of Minneapolis as well as Our Lady of Peace Home Hospice Care of St Paul.
Memorial Service 12 PM Thursday, April 25th, visitation one hour prior, at SIMPLE TRADITIONS BY BRADSHAW, 671 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul. Interment at Fort Snelling.
