Steven Lee Conroy, 56 Left this Earthly Realm Dec. 5th, 2021. St Paul, MN. Steve was born on Nov 3rd, 1965, in Rice Lake Wi to Clarence (Bud) Conroy and Mona (McInnis) Conroy. He was the youngest of 4 children, Sharon (Dan) Bauer, Vicki (Steven) Schrieber, and preceded in Death by Dennis (Sally) Conroy. Steve Graduated Class of 1984 from RLH, in Rice Lake, Wi. He was well liked by peers and Staff. He was known for his Artistic abilities, Family, and for the lives he touched and had many lifelong friends. He is survived by his” Babydoll” Jessica Callahan, as well as two Sisters. Along with nieces and nephews: Theran (Melanie) Bauer, Kristen (Bryan) Maas, Becca Bauer, Emily and Elizabeth Bauer. Isac (Meriah) Schrieber, Caleb (Sitka) Schrieber, Jordan (Leigh Ann) Schreiber. Kelsey (Brad) Blomberg, Nathan (Abby) Conroy, Hannah (Jared) Rolo. And now Great Nieces and Nephews: Kayden, Cohen, Cullen, Kaylie, Harrison, Cosima, Addie Jo, Cora, Mae, Fen, Zella, Benjamin, Ruthie, Rosie & Baby Maas. He will be missed beyond measure. He attended UW Eau Claire, Majoring in Art. He was known locally for his Cartoon Murals and his work in Theatre. He had a passion for live music, often traveling to see a wide Variety of Artists. Mid 90’s He moved to Madison, WI where he met his Babydoll, Jessica Callahan. Steve and Jessica worked for WFM (8 yrs. &10 yrs. respectively). In ’97 they relocated to Saint Paul, with WFM, for work and to be closer to Family. He worked at Mississippi Market Co-op, The St Paul Cheese shop, Minneapolis Parks and Rec and his Favorite job EVER, St. Paul’s premium Tobacconist, Stogies on Grand. he was there for 17 years. He always pursued his Artistic side, and was often seen in the West 7th neighborhood in his “Skull Truck”, or at Various Pop-up Art shows selling his Art. He spent an entire summer hand painting a white utility truck with Skulls(#skulltruck). He was a proud Member of Minnesota ArtCar. Raised in the Northwoods, Steve enjoyed the Outdoors, sports and Family, forging lifelong friendships through these pursuits. His beloved Mother, Mona, had a Passion for Wisconsin sports (although he was a Twins fan). He was a Die-Hard Badger Fan and a Lifelong Green Bay Packer fan.Lastly, he enjoyed Travel. The trip of his Lifetime, was a Family Trip to Ireland, exploring their Irish Heritage. He loved the Beauty of Nature and two of his favorite places on Earth were the shores of Lake Superior and the shores of Deep Lake. He was a beautiful soul, with an easy laugh and a curious mind. He has been taken from us far to early. He touched many lives, long live his Memory. Salainte’. “Keep me in your Heart for A while”

There will be an Irish Wake in his Honor on Dec 12/2021 at Shamrocks Irish Nook, 995 7th St W7th st, St Paul, MN 55102 3pm to 6pm.Come raise a Glass in his Honor.

A Life Celebration will be held for Family and Friends in Northern WI in the Spring of 2022
