Susan Diana Morrill, adored mother, friend, and partner, peacefully departed this world on May 14, 2024, surrounded by her cherished children and beloved significant other. Preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Lawrence Burns, sister Barbara and Brother James, she is survived by her children Gregory and Kathryn Morrill, and her significant other Ronald Clough. A native of Minneapolis, MN, Susan settled into Minnetonka, MN after completing her education and living briefly abroad in Germany. A Pisces through and through, Susan's journey through life was one of strength, grace, kindness, and unwavering love.
Susan's inner and outer beauty were evident to all who knew her. Her radiant spirit, genuine interest in others, and nurturing heart endeared her to her family and friends and earned her the title of best friend to her children. Susan had a rich inner wisdom.
An enthusiast of life's treasures, Susan found solace and wonder in astrology, antiques, the beauty of nature, and the allure of gemstones and crystals. She was drawn to all things mystical and was an intuitive healer. Susan found great joy and peace in the company of animals and was empathetic and loving to all living things. Yet, above all else, her greatest joy came from spending time with her friends and family.
Susan's unexpected departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who were touched by her presence. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her love will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. As she transcends to her heavenly abode, Susan leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will endure through the ages.
On Thursday, May 23rd, Susan was cremated under the watchful gaze of the May Flower Full Moon, a celestial tribute to her gentle spirit. Simple Traditions by Bradshaw tenderly handled her final arrangements.
