Theresa Anzanello

Theresa Cardoso Anzanello, age 78, of Minneapolis, formerly of Porto Alegre, Brasil, passed away on April 8, 2021 in her home from pancreatic cancer. Theresa was born in 1942 in Porto Alegre, Brasil. In 1973 Theresa moved to Minneapolis to marry her husband, Imar, and begin her new life. Theresa opened her seamstress shop in 1985 which she ran for 34 years. When not working and raising her two children she was an avid dancer and enjoyed watching nature on long walks by the river and through the city.  Theresa is survived by her two children, Daniel and Adrienne; and her long time partner and love of her life, Tito Gavelan. She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers and her sister. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday April 17 at 10:00 AM at ST. OLAF CATHOLIC CHURCH (215 S. 8th St., Minneapolis) with visitation one hour prior.
