Thomas Rodger Bartell

Thomas R "Bart" Bartell, golfer, gambler and good buddy, moved on to the 19th hole on January 25th, 2024 at age 71. Born on September 15, 1952, he found his life's work in Minneapolis, working as a jeweler for 37 years (Nelson & Nelson, DiPerna Jewelers). His work was secondary to his enjoyment of friendship and sports (golf, softball, hockey, and the horses).

Bart left behind friends and family thankful for having shared fun times with him, namely sisters Jeanne Switala (Paul), Susan (Steve), and Julie (Billy); as well as nephews Anthony, Casey (Katie), Christian; special family member Justine; great nephews Anthony, Castiel, Gryffin, Bennett, Noah; and great niece Alyssa.

A celebration of Bart's life will be held outdoors this summer, perhaps near one of the many golf courses he loved to play.
