Thomas Ruiz

Passed away after a long battle with cancer on November 7 at the age of 71. Tom was born in St. Paul, and was a graduate of Johnson High School. Tom was always full of life and enjoyed playing and watching tennis and riding his bike around the Twin Cities. He loved cats and always had one in his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Lucille, and Richard Stewart. He is survived by siblings Nick (Micky), Linda, Richard (Diane), Terri, Julie (Bill) Friskney, Suzanne, Angela (Ricardo) Cervantes, Laurie (Robb) Siever, Becca Schneider, and Dan (Janelle), his cat, Bear, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We will miss his smile and sense of humor.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Saint Paul
with visitation at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Caring for Cats in North Saint Paul would be appreciated.
